Psalm 1:1-8
- Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners
- or sit in the seat of mockers.
- But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
- and on his law he meditates day and night.
- He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season
- and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
- Not so the wicked!
- They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
- Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
- nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
- (Together) For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Psalm 2:1-8
- Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
- The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD
- and against his Anointed One.
- "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters."
- The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
- the Lord scoffs at them.
- Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
- "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill."
- I will proclaim the decree of the LORD : He said to me,
- "You are my Son ; today I have become your Father.
- Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance,
- the ends of the earth your possession.

Psalm 4
- Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress;
- be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
- How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame ?
- How long will you love delusions and seek false gods ?
- Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself;
- the LORD will hear when I call to him.
- In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.
- Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD.
- Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?"
- Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
- You have filled my heart with greater joy
- than when their grain and new wine abound.
- I will lie down and sleep in peace,
- for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 8
- O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
- You have set your glory above the heavens.
- From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise
- because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
- When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers,
- the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
- what is man that you are mindful of him,
- the son of man that you care for him?
- You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
- and crowned him with glory and honor.
- You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:
- all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
- (Together) O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Psalm 13
- How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
- How long will you hide your face from me?
- How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart?
- How long will my enemy triumph over me?
- Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
- my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
- But I trust in your unfailing love;
- my heart rejoices in your salvation.
- (Together) I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.

Psalm 15
- LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
- Who may live on your holy hill?
- He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous,
- who speaks the truth from his heart
- and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong
- and casts no slur on his fellowman,
- who despises a vile man
- but honors those who fear the LORD,
- who keeps his oath even when it hurts,
- who lends his money without usury
- and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
- He who does these things will never be shaken.

Psalm 16:1-8
- Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
- As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
- The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods.
- LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure.
- The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
- I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
- even at night my heart instructs me.
- I have set the LORD always before me.
- Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Psalm 19:1-10
- The heavens declare the glory of God;
- the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
- Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.
- Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
- The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul.
- The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
- The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart.
- The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
- The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever.
- The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.
- (Together) They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.

Psalm 23
- The LORD is my shepherd,
- I shall not be in want.
- He makes me lie down in green pastures,
- he leads me beside quiet waters,
- he restores my soul.
- He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
- for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
- You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
- You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
- Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
- and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 27
- The LORD is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear?
- The LORD is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?
- When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me,
- they will stumble and fall.
- Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear;
- though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.
- One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
- to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
- For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
- and set me high upon a rock.
- Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;
- at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.

Psalm 28:1-3,5-8
- To you I call, O LORD my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me.
- For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit.
- Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help,
- as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
- Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil,
- who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts.
- Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD and what his hands have done,
- he will tear them down and never build them up again.
- Praise be to the LORD,
- for he has heard my cry for mercy.
- The LORD is my strength and my shield;
- my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
- (Together) The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

Psalm 32:1-7,11
- Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
- Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.
- When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
- For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.
- Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.
- you forgave the guilt of my sin.
- Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found;
- surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him.
- You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble
- and surround me with songs of deliverance.
- Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous;
- sing, all you who are upright in heart!

Psalm 34:1-4,6-10
- I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
- My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
- Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
- I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
- This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
- The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
- Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
- Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.
- (Together) The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Psalm 46:1-5,9-11
- God is our refuge and strength,
- an ever-present help in trouble.
- Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
- though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
- There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
- God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
- He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth;
- he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire.
- "Be still, and know that I am God;
- I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
- The LORD Almighty is with us;
- the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Psalm 51:1-7,10
- Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;
- according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
- Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
- For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
- Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight,
- so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.
- Surely I was sinful at birth,
- sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
- Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
- wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
- Create in me a pure heart, O God,
- and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

- my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you,
- I have seen you in the sanctuary
- and beheld your power and your glory.
- Because your love is better than life,
- my lips will glorify you.
- I will praise you as long as I live,
- and in your name I will lift up my hands.
- My soul will be satisfied
- as with the richest of foods;
- with singing lips my mouth will praise you. On my bed I remember you;
- I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help,
- (Together) I sing in the shadow of your wings.

- Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion;
- to you our vows will be fulfilled.
- O you who hear prayer,
- to you all men will come.
- When we were overwhelmed by sins,
- you forgave our transgressions.
- Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts!
- We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.
- You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly.
- The streams of God are filled with water
- to provide the people with grain,
- for so you have ordained it.
- The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain;
- they shout for joy and sing.

- may all the peoples praise you.
- May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
- for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth.
- May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. Then the land will yield its harvest,
- and God, our God, will bless us.
- God will bless us,
- and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

Psalm 84:1-6,10,12
- How lovely is your dwelling place,
- O LORD Almighty!
- My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
- my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
- Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself,
- where she may have her young? a place near your altar,
- O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
- Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
- As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
- they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
- Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
- I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
- (Together) O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.

- will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
- I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
- Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
- He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
- A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
- For he will command his angels concerning you
- to guard you in all your ways;
- (Together) "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."

Psalm 95:1-7
- Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;
- let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
- Let us come before him with thanksgiving
- and extol him with music and song.
- For the LORD is the great God,
- the great King above all gods.
- In his hand are the depths of the earth,
- and the mountain peaks belong to him.
- The sea is his, for he made it,
- and his hands formed the dry land.
- Come, let us bow down in worship,
- let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
- for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
- Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.

Psalm 104:1-13
- Praise the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God,
- you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
- He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent
- and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot
- and rides on the wings of the wind. He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.
- He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.
- You set a boundary they cannot cross;
- never again will they cover the earth.
- He makes springs pour water into the ravines; it flows between the mountains.
- They give water to all the beasts of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
- The birds of the air nest by the waters;
- they sing among the branches.
- He waters the mountains from his upper chambers;
- the earth is satisfied by the fruit of his work.

- indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
- The LORD watches over you - the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
- the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
- The LORD will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life;
- the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

- O Lord, who could stand?
- But with you there is forgiveness;
- therefore you are feared.
- I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
- and in his word I put my hope.
- My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning,
- more than watchmen wait for the morning.
- O Israel, put your hope in the LORD,
- for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.

- You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
- Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.
- Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
- If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.
- If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
- even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
- See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

- O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy;
- in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
- Do not bring your servant into judgment,
- for no one living is righteous before you.
- The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in darkness like those long dead.
- So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.
- I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.
- I spread out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
- Answer me quickly, O LORD; my spirit fails.
- For your name's sake, O LORD, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
- In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
- destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.

- I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him,
- he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
- If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers;
- such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
- If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish,
- and it will be given you.
- This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit,
- showing yourselves to be my disciples.
- As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.
- Now remain in my love.
- If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love,

Hebrews 11:1-6
- Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
- This is what the ancients were commended for.
- By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command,
- so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
- By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man,
- when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.
- By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away.
- For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.
- And without faith it is impossible to please God,
- because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

1 John 4:7-12
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
- Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Whoever does not love does not know God,
- because God is love.
- This is how God showed his love among us:
- He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
- This is love: not that we loved God,
- but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
- Dear friends, since God so loved us,
- we also ought to love one another.
- No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another,
- God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

- He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
- nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men,
- a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
- Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,
- yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
- But he was pierced for our transgressions,
- he was crushed for our iniquities;
- the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,

- and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.
- for he satisfies the thirsty
- and fills the hungry with good things.
[edit] 교독문 65 (Thanksgiving Day 2)
Psalm 136:1-12
- Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.
- Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.
- Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever.
- to him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever.
- who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever.
- who spread out the earth upon the waters, His love endures forever.
- who made the great lights? His love endures forever.
- the sun to govern the day, His love endures forever.
- the moon and stars to govern the night; His love endures forever.
- to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt His love endures forever.
- and brought Israel out from among them His love endures forever.
- with a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.
[edit] 교독문 67 (New Year's Day)
- In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
- They will perish, but you remain;
- they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.
- But you remain the same, and your years will never end.
- Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
- See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
- You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
- to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
- the old has gone, the new has come!
- A new command I give you: Love one another.
- As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

1 Corinthians 9:18-23, Exodus 15:1-2, Exodus 15:6, Psalm 126:1-3, Isaiah 9:2-3
- I will sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted.
- The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea.
- The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
- He is my God, and I will praise him,
- "Your right hand, O LORD, was majestic in power.
- Your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy.
- When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed.
- Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
- Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."
- The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
- The people walking in darkness have seen a great light;
- on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
- (Together) You have enlarged the nation.
[edit] 교독문 71 (Children's Sunday)
Psalm 127:3-5, Matthew 18:3-5, Ephesians 6:4, Proverbs 22:6
- Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
- children a reward from him.
- Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.
- Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
- I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children,
- you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
- Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child
- is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
- And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name
- welcomes me.
- Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
- Train a child in the way he should go,
- (Together) and when he is old he will not turn from it.
[edit] 교독문 72 (Parent's Sunday)
Exodus 20:12, Proverbs 1:8-9, Proverbs 23:22-25, Ephesians 6:1-3
- Honor your father and your mother,
- so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
- Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
- They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.
- Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
- May your father and mother be glad; may she who gave you birth rejoice!
- Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
- Honor your father and mother—which is the first commandment with a promise— that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.
[edit] 교독문 73 (Reformation Sunday)
Psalm 18:1-2, Luke 11:28, Romans 1:16-17, John 8:31-32, 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
- I love you, O LORD, my strength.
- The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
- my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield
- and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
- He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
- The gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes
- For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last
- just as it is written
- "The righteous will live by faith."
- If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.
- Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
- But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory
- through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- (Together) Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord.

1 Chr. 16:23-25, Jn 20:21, Mt 28:19-20, Acts 1:8
- Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
- Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
- For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
- Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."
- Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
- and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
- And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
[edit] 교독문 75 (Bible Sunday)
Psalm 119:33-34, Psalm 119:103-106, John 5:39, 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- Teach me, O LORD, to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end.
- Give me understanding, and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
- How sweet are your words to my taste,
- sweeter than honey to my mouth!
- I gain understanding from your precepts;
- therefore I hate every wrong path.
- Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
- I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.
- You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.
- These are the Scriptures that testify about me,
- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
- so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
[edit] 청년주일
Ecclesiastes 12:1-2, 11:9, Proverbs 1:7, Psalm 119:9, II Timothy 2:22, Psalm 110:3
- Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come
- and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"-
- before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark,
- and the clouds return after the rain;
- Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see,
- but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgment.
- The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
- but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
- How can a young man keep his way pure?
- By living according to your word.
- Flee the evil desires of youth,
- and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy majesty,
- from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth.
