Fullerton Train
- $8.50 metrolink regular ticket
- $238 metrolink month pass
- Amtrak: $14
- Seems the MetroLink month pass works on Amtrak too, with some caveats, but for the Orange Line it’s good. Bike rack is not available on Amtrak under this.
Month pass is accepted for LA Metro buses/subway transfers too
Metro and amtrak both take about 30 min

Smoke Detector Battery Replacement
Leaving a note here as I always get confused – the square shaped end of the battery needs to go into the smaller hole side (right side) of the smoke detector… I think. I plugged it a few minutes ago, already forgot. Also, even if it’s the correct side, the detector will emit a final “beep” noise before going silent.
